Building A Church

Any faith community needs a place to worship. As a community, there is the need to not only bond, but to be together as one. As of this time we still hold the Divine Liturgy in our houses, but we have to be honest that as the community grows, this will prove inadequate. It is our dream to have a church where we can celebrate Divine Liturgy as well as have the community as one there.

We hope you can make this dream of ours a reality. Through your prayers, and any help that might come our way, this dream will become a reality. We hope, if it is God's will, to have this church up this year. As Jesus Himself said, "Where two or three of you come together in My name, there I will be with them." (Matthew 18:20). Another thing is equally true, this time from a movie, "The Field of Dreams": If you build it, they will come.

Indeed, people will be encouraged more to come if there is a proper place of worship where we can point them to, and where inquirers can go if they want to kmow more about Orthodoxy. There is much we need aside from the church, of course, such as liturgical books, the vessels for the Liturgy, proper vestments, etc. All of these things we pray that the Lord will provide for us, and with your prayers and help will be there for us. We hope in time this dream of ours will come true.
